Almost a year ago we printed an article about Enzo Maresca and his potential departure from the club. In that article we pinpoint our favourite man to take over, Liam Rosenior. That never happened but to see him linked at this point makes our prediction spot on.
Ruud van Nistelrooy has so far been a disastrous appointment. He has not yet found a formula to build the best out of what he got. He has not been able set his mark and build at least a fighting unit.
Few believe that Liam Rosenior will be a candidate ready to leave his current job at this point. Signing for Leicester do not seem likely. However, if something happens in the summer and the club avoids sanctions, he should definitely be considered.

The decision to bring in Steve Cooper made little sense. It did not align with the football Leicester were playing under Enzo Maresca. Liam Rosenior would have fitted well. He had the knowledge and understanding to bring Enzoball forward and into a Premier League context.
We were hoping the club had turned to Liam Rosenior before the season. He is a manager with a very clever eye on football. He also guided Hull to a win at King Power and a draw at home. Picking up 4 of the possible 6 against the league winner. To see him dismissed from his job, was a major surprise.
The job he has done at Strasbourg is amazing. Last summer he could walked in the door at Leicester, but instead Steve Cooper was appointed. Cooper showed his worth and to see him sacked so early on in the season was a major surprise.
