There are little or no realism in talking about, a Leicester, Premier League survival. The days of Ruud van Nistelrooy looks likely be numbered at the end of the season. To see him continue, with his match record from this season, would be strange.
Different people close to Leicester believe a change will happen if Leicester go down. When the confirmation of the relegation is known, the trigger will be pulled and the change believed to happen.
Several names are already mentioned in the list of potential new managers. The last special name to be put forward is former Southampton manager Russell Martin.
Russell Martin took Southampton up via the play-off’s in front of the season. A great achievement but also a dilemma as no change in style were to be seen. Southampton backed Russell Martin with several transfers in the summer. However, the team assembled for their Premier League return performed even worse than Leicester. They are currently bottom, giving Russell Martin the boot in December after a terrible 5-0 loss to Tottenham.
The Leicester decision makers have a very difficult job to handle with Ruud van Nistelrooy. He has a long-term deal. Hopefully, some contract arrangements are included if the club is relegated on his post.

Liam Rosenior and Danny Rohl are two names allready talked up. Yesterday, Russell Martin appeared as a candidate for the manager job at Leicester. It’s a matter of when, rather than if, the position becomes vacant.
The only reason for Ruud van Nistelrooy to continue is a dramatic change in form towards the end of the season. We all know this fact. Even if relegation occurs, wins might encourage the owner and DOF. They could be willing to test the waters into the next season.
You cannot blame Ruud for everything. He had no backing in January. He brought in just a cover defender, Woyo Coulibaly from Parma. Still the team he inherited from Steve Cooper were above the relegation zone when he arrived.
