OH Leuven midfielder Ezechiel Banzuzi is again mentioned as a player to bring to Leicester. Banzuzi has been in good form helping OH Leuven to safety under current manager Chris Coleman. The climb of OH Leuven can of course be a motivation for Leicester, having the same DOF in charge, a certain Jon Rudkin.

There are a number of different players being rumoured as potential Leicester targets. One who appeared in the news a few weeks back was Japanese attacker Tomoyuki Doi. The notorious goalscorer with 38 goals in 24 league games for Singapore club Geylang International has drawn attention. He never arrived at Leicester instead having a trial with Hoffenheim, after leaving Danish club Brondby. Doi is now back in Singapore to continue his career. He could of course again appear in the rumour mill, but more likely to be a target of OH Leuven than Leicester.

Leicester are currently keeping a close eye on Salford talent Will Wright. The 16 year old attacker do have a lot of interest. Arsenal and Birmingham are other clubs mentioned in the chase. He is most likely to stay on where he is, but it’s said he is seeking assurance to get the correct development. Salford are currently mid table in League Two.

We earlier recommended Ross Barkley as the ideal signing for next season. His team mate John McGinn could also be one to have a closer look at. McGinn (30) is still the captain at Villa Park, but he is not a regular starter anymore, but would be menace to have in a Leicester team regardless of what division they are in.

Jamie Vardy is eager to continue his career and not hang up his boots at the end of the season. His one year deal is said to be considered and he could be offered a new year. A move abroad looks a no go as his family is well rooted in the local area of Leicester. Will be interesting to see if he decides to stay and play on in blue.

A player to have a closer look at is Brann striker Aune Heggebo. The 23 year attacker is a player in good progress, and one that soon will find his way to a better league abroad. His goal for Brann yesterday was a beautiful strike. He could soon follow Erling Haaland, Jorgen Strand Larsen and Alexander Sorloth to a major league in Europe. A number of clubs are seen in the chase. He has currently been linked with a move to Sunderland.
