There are yet to be seen when Ruud van Nistelrooy will be leaving Leicester. Reports indicate he will continue to the end of the season. He wants to see if he can bring this project to a momentum for next season.

Few believe Ruud will be around for next season. They think he will split with the club at a certain time. Performances has lately been positive, despite getting only one point from the last two games.

Odds favourite at this moment is Sean Dyche. Sources close to him are said to believe he is very keen on the job. Despite a bad season, and having certain parts of the fanbase being very disappointed with the current leader and ownership, this club still appeals.

Different lists operates with different names. Cesc Fabregas, Liam Rosenior and Russell Martin are names high on a list of possible candidates. Steven Gerrard, Danny Rohl, and Marti Cifuentes are also mentioned. Lee Carsley, Erik Ten Hag, Russell Martin, and Gary O’Neil are others.

Sean Dyche knows the job and have a clear eye on his targets. But the negatives are also there, saying his approach and style of play is outdated. So a mixed bag of potential with other candidates possibly having a more modern view, but still unexperienced when compared with the former Burnley and Everton boss.

We are certain Ruud van Nistelrooy will leave Leicester. This could happen during the current season or at the end. But still also a chance for him to continue, though high odds on that happening. However, he needs to show some promising profe, to get the support to be staying on.

So again as so many times before, high uncertainty regarding Leicester City. At this point it looks as if Sean Dyhce is the man having the best odds to succeed Ruud van Nistelrooy.
