Jordan Ayew joined Leicester from Crystal Palace in the summer. He is one of the current players at the club with more than 100 caps for his nation. He has represented Ghana at full international level 111 times. He is their captain and still very much part of the plans for the AFCON and possibly World Cup action, if qualified.

Peter Shilton is a player who have represented Leicester and also played more than 100 times at international level. He reached the tally of 125. He played a number of them in three World Cup’s, 1982, 1986 and 1990. During his early years he had strong competition from two other great England goalkeepers, Gordon Banks and Ray Clemence. None of them reached the 100 tally mark.

Ahmed Musa had a brief spell at Leicester. He never became a settled player. He appeared in 21 league games and scored 2 goals. The Nigerian international has been in action for his country 110 times. He is one of the most recognized players in Nigeria.

Another player with a massive amount of games for his country is Max Gradel. Gradel is currently playing his football in Turkey, and still going at the age of 37. He has been capped 113 times for his nation Ivory Coast.

Goalkeepers tends to have longer careers. Peter Shilton is mentioned. Kasper Schmeichel, Kasey Keller, and Mark Schwarzer are also former shotstoppers with tall numbers. Evans had some very good years at Leicester. He helped them to two top five finishes in the Premier League. He also contributed to winning the FA Cup and reaching the semi-finals of the Europa Conference League.

Not to forget Harry Kane, who spent a few months on loan at Leicester. Kane is on 105 caps and of course one of the top legends of English football. He is still having an international career as his tallies most certainly will increase in the next years.

Islam Slimani, another player with a troubled time at Leicester, has taken his tally of caps to 101. He has scored 46 goals in his games, which is a very respectful count. Riyad Mahrez has also passed the number of 100, being on the similar amount as Slimani, both representing Algeria.

Crotian international Andrej Kramaric has reached 104 caps for Croatia. He has also represented his country in a World Cup final, back in 2018, defeat to France.
