A group of Leicester fans from Scandinavia are present today at the game vs. Millwall. They are all loyal, friendly and devoted. They are of course understanding the circumstances and the situation the club are in at the moment. As a foreign fan from many years back, you do not chicken out. This is a well planned journey, in association with club representatives.

Important to stress that the club is so much more than results on the pitch. You have to seperate that from the fantastic staff working at the football club and doing a fantastic job organizing and helping out.

To be present at the game where you most certainly will see a lot of empty seats will be noticed and taken on board. This is also about cameraderie and getting together for a friendly weekend in a city all of these people know well and will appreciate to visit once again.

Scandinavian Leicester fans are the largest independent supporters group outside the UK. Having a reach of around 300 fans all together. The current situation of course reflect the amount of counting paying members, which is about 200 at this point.

Previous Leicester players Pontus Kaamark and Kjetil Osvold are both in relation with our group. Steve Walsh is our patron. Great friendship build up over years. The group of members are mostly Norwegians, with a few Swedes and Danes also among us.

The group today had flights from different destinations, jetting in to Stansted, Heathrow or Gatwick They all arive from Oslo, Bergen or Copenhagen. Then direct trains from London to Leicester. The group were all a little bit stressed by the fact that the game had been moved from Saturday to Friday. Some of the flights had to be rebooked and changed.

The support from this group is genuine and we are proud to be supporting this football club. Being there in rain, snow, windy nights and bright sunshine. Coming home with a win is always a bonus, alongside the great cameradery between us all.

You will most certainly se them down at the ground before the game, having a pre match drink and being in the fanzone area to meet up with locals we all know and cherish.

This is what Leicester should always be, supporting friendship and loyalty.

Foxes never quit!
