Gary Rowett made four changes to his line-up, giving Harry Souttar a starting position. He became a very important player in the game, scoring the opening goal and accordingly the best Leicester player on the field.
Hamza Choudhury had taken the captaincy. Harry Winks was also back in the line-up. Jacub Stolarczyk taking the goalkeeper position after a fatal and utterly bad game from Asmir Begovic vs. Hull.
First half looked controlled and Leicester in some way looked the better side, not really dominating, but a steady hand on the wheel. The energy level still looks far to low. This is in real the problem as those teams in this division battles while Leicester try to play a game of football, but in some way lack the talent to fulfill that mission and score the goals needed.
Leicester had no special opportunities in the first half. Millwall putting Leicester under pressure, but a good Jacub Stolarczyk in goal and having Harry Souttar in the defensive line, made it 0-0 at half time.
Leicester came out second half with a positive approach. They just controlled the game and had positive impact. Gary Rowett made a good decision, giving Jeremy Monga and Louis Page a chance from the bench after 60 minutes replacing Bobby De Cordova-Reid and Divine Mukasa.
We are far from happy with the way Louis Page have been treated by Gary Rowett, but what he showed out there after coming up is really something to build on. Jeremy Monga also have that extra edge that gives the team more depth and talent.
Then when Harry Souttar in the 78th minute came into the Millwall penalty area with hard and strong presence, just pushing the ball in goal with his head and body, shows what this team are lacking at the minute. Battling attitude and hard work ethic. Leicester were 1-0 up.

New changes done in the 80th minute, giving minutes to Jordan James and Stephy Mavididi. These two changes never worked well as Millwall again took possession and pressed Leicester hard to get that uqualizer.
Leicester struggled to keep Millwall on distance and clever saves and good goalkeeping from Jackub Stolarczyk made it possible to keep the lead. But then in stoppage time, The Lions substitute Macaulay Langstaff scored from inside the penaly box, no change for Stolarczyk on that one, 1-1.
Both teams had attempts to score in stoppage time, being more than 8 minutes, but it never happened and the game ebbed out as a draw, Leicester again losing a lead after going in front, tragic and sad to see.
