Gary Rowett is finished as manager for Leicester after the last game away to Blackburn on Saturday. Then the club hopefully will be fast in installing a new man to take over and this time getting everything correct.
At this website we were all for appointing Gary Rowett as a firefighter. He got six points deduction thrown in the face almost before he had started. He did improve the situation from where the team was in the last weeks under Marti Cifuentes as well as the tragic period with interim man Andy King.
The list of potential candidates to take over for Gary Rowett, we do get the same names up as we had after Marti Cifuentes left. This time Leicester are not out to appoint a shot term firefighter. The list is a bit boring but some names in there could be interesting to listen to and follow up.
Will Still was sacked by Southampton back in November last year. A terrible run of results for a manager that is seen as one of the most exciting prospects in the game at the time. His assistant Tonda Eckert takes over and suddenly this team is transferred to a play-off contender.
Chris Davies is on the list. He took Birmingham up last term. He is under pressure and could be replaced at St. Andrews as their ownership might look for potential manager candidates with more experience in the promotion race from The Championship.
We've shared our thoughts on the latest candidates. 👇#LCFChttps://t.co/CZ7U4ehIBh

To see Russell Martin on top of this list is not favourable. He might be a proper manager, but his extreme obsession with possession is very difficult to accept. The way he stumbled at Southampton and Rangers, makes it difficult to understand, why Leicester should appoint him.
Brian Barry-Murphy who left the club last season, has taken Cardiff up in a way that looks very impressive. To see him leave The Bluebirds and return to Leicester looks far from happening.
Dave Challinor and Alex Rawell are two names that are also in this list, both having a trade in League One with Stockport (DC) and Stevenage (AR). They are not people that knows much about running a club like Leicester. The same with Lincoln manager Michael Skubala. None of them have what is needed to bring this club forward over a long period of time.
Kevin Muscat is also a name that circles in social media. The former Crystal Palace and Wolves player is doing well in China at the moment. Patrick Kisnorbo and Liam Resenior are also mentioned.
Nigel Pearson, Roy Hodgson and other old men with a good management record can of course be approached, but looking at these people, they are not something we should count on at the moment. We all remember the good times, but it was never great days for NP at OH Leuven, Watford, Bristol City and Derby. Would not be in favour of a return for the former promotion specialist.
At this point Will Still is the most interesting name. Chris Davies looks another candidate who can be someone to count.
