Former Leicester goalkeeper Danny Ward has signed a two year deal with newly promoted Wrexham. He is back were it all started. He was released by Leicester after last season, joining from Liverpool back in 2018 for a fee of £12million. During his 6 years at the club, he played 29 league games for Leicester. His time as a first team goalkeeper was limited.
Former Leicester midfielder Robbie Savage has surprisingly left Macclesfield FC. He last season helped The Silkmen to an impressive promotion. Savage has now been appointed manager of National League club Forest Green Rovers.
Oli Ewing, one of the young prospects realeased after last season, has found himself a new club. He has signed for National League club Scunthorpe United. The Irons are newly promoted. Ewing spent a period on loan last season with Buxton. He was highly impressive and it will be interesting to see how the Wales U.21 international will progress.
It was believed that Jamie Vardy was keen to stay on and play in the Premier League. However, according to the Daily Record, he is a close target for Rangers. A lot of different clubs have been linked JV9 as he possibly needs to make a decision soon.
Wilfred Ndidi has not yet reported back to pre-season preperations at Leicester. He is linked with a number of clubs including Man Utd, Juventus, Everton and Real Betis. Ndidi (28) signed a new and long-term deal with Leicester last summer. It is said to have a £9million pay-out clause.

Conor Coady reported back to pre-season training yesterday. He is heavily linked with a move to Rangers. He is still a very solid defender. Having him in a team in the Scottish Premier should give them a quality signing.
To see Stephy Mavididi being linked with top clubs in Serie A is no surprise. He was just frequently used last season by both managers in charge. Atalanta and Bologna are mentioned as possible destinations.
Former Leicester midfielder Sidnei Tavares has joined Blackburn from Moreirense. He has signed a three year deal with the Lancashire club. Since leaving Leicester for Porto in 2021, he has also had a loan spell in the MLS with Colorado Rapids.
Wanya Marcal is back in pre-season training with Leicester after being out on loan last season playing for Dutch Erste Divisi club De Graafschap. He had a blistering season start under Enzo Maresca, but injuries and lack of opportunities made him a bit forgotten. Will be interesting to follow his progress this season.
We have lately seen Victor Kristiansen being linked with a move away. He is clearly a target for newly promoted Sunderland. Everton are also mentioned together with Serie A club Bologna.
Mads Hermansen reported back for pre-season training yesterday. He is in heavy demand being linked with West Ham, Chelsea, Brentford and Man Utd. The talk is that he will leave Leicester during the summer. Chelsea and West Ham are the front runners at the moment.
