As we announced yesterday, Julian Carranza has officially joined Leicester. The agreement is a season-long loan with an option to buy. This is now officially confirmed. In our article yesterday, we called this move bold. It seemed a bit strange because nothing has happened regarding Patson Daka.
We would like to welcome the Argentinian to Leicester. Hopefully, he will bring what Marti Cifuentes believes is needed to lead the attacking line. Alternatively, he may contribute something unique to the team.
Patson Daka is in real in no hurry if a move to Turkey or Saudi Arabia is ment to happen. He has also been linked with Spanish club Real Betis, but that will not happen. The transfer window in Turkey is open until the 12th of September. The transfer window in Saudi Arabia shuts on the 11th of September.
A move for Patson Daka was said to be a priority if another attacker comes in, something that has happened. Will be exciting to see how this will work out. To sign Carranza and having him as a third choice alternative is hopefully not what Marti Cifuentes is looking for. Celtic is said to be interested in Daka. The Scottish transfer window does not close before tomorrow.
Just to add bodies cannot be a priority at Leicester anymore. We still believe, as we have said all the time, that Julian Carranza is no better alternative than Patson Daka or Jordan Ayew. He will not be a better choice without service.
We hope for Patson Daka to move on for his development. It is still possible if he gets an offer from Scotland, Turkey or Saudi Arabia. Their transfer windows shut at a later time. There are very few European transfer windows closing today, for the full update, check here
✍️ We are delighted to confirm the loan signing of attacking midfielder Will Alves from Sky Bet Championship side Leicester City for the 2025/26 Sky Bet League One season!

💬 Comments from Manager Lee Grant and Will Alves ⤵️
Let's get going, Will 🙌#htafc
Will Alves, has as we have reported yesterday, joined Huddersfield. This is a season long loan. Looks a good move for the youngster. All the best to Will Alves.
Woyo Coulibaly is close to moving back to Italy. Sassuolo is the club to make the move. The fee is not confirmed but this sounds a god move for all parties.
Yesterday we reported on Jordan James joining on loan from Rennes. There are still a few minutes left of the transfer window, we just wait on this to happen. Two other players reported on are Burnley midfielder Aaron Ramsey and Rangers attacking option Nedim Bajrama.
We just have to wait a few more minutes. Then we will see who will be confirmed. This will happen before everything is over regarding players coming in.
