Leicester set to make a special appointment, bringing in new goalkeeper coach Javier Ortiz.
Exclusively we can report about him being much more than just a goalkeeper coach.
For his club Sandefjord Fotball this move is not news, it’s been a change known for months.
This should have happened a while ago, but due to papers and other clearances it has not happened before. This is of course a reason for Leicester not having a goalkeeper coach until now.

Marti Cifuentes worked with him at Sandefjord. Fir some reason they have not been able to unite before now. Javier Ortiz has been with Sandefjord Fotball for seven years.
Two goalkeepers to have been coached by Ortiz is Hugo Keto and Elias Hadaya. They both have been solid and part of a special progress at Sandefjord Fotball.
Hugo Keto moved to Vernamo in Sweden after last season, when Elias Hidaya arrived from Gothenburg based Utsikten.
Interesting choice to bring in Javier Ortiz. He is just 33 years of age. He will be younger than current second choice Asmir Begovic (38). Ortiz is also known for other capacities, said to have a good view on all matters and having great football knowledge.
His former club Sandefjord Fotball wushed him all the best on his move to Leicester. Javier Ortiz has also said himself he is very happy about getting this opportunity.
Ortiz has a past from Espanyol before moving to Sandefjord. In the official statement from Sandefjord Fotball they hoped for a straight promotion back to Premier League.
