Leicester have confirmed Rick Passmoor as the permanent new head coach of the Leicester Women Team. Passmoor had earlier been in temporary charge after Amandine Miquel left just ten days before the start of the WSL season.
There has been a major change in player personal as the women team looks to improve from previous season and hopefully climb out of the bottom positions. Leicester are on 4 points so far, having West Ham and Liverpool behind them in the table.
Passmoor has signed a three year deal with Leicester. The former Notts County and Leeds manager hopefully being one to keep as the change of managers for the women team has been a ride of many rotations. Since coming up into the top flight for the 2021-22 season we have seen Jonathan Morgan, Emile Heskey (interim), Lydia Bedford, Willie Kirk, Jennifer Foster (interim) and Amandine Miquel as the manager, hopefully this time it would an appointment lasting and some sort of continuity can be found.
Passmoor will be in full charge of Leicester for the next outing coming on Sunday, playing Aston Villa away in the Women Super League.
