All Reasons To Avoid Players in Recent Rumours To Join Leicester

Anthony Patterson has this season lost his place in the Sunderland first team. He is a good shot stopper, but lacks what all managers at this point are looking for, those brilliant with their feet. Patterson would be a good option, but with three other goalkeepers at the club, this looks a brainless rumour.

Leicester signed Fran Vieites. A free agent goalkeeper with a recent previous life at Real Betis. He has not been involved in games at any level since joining. We will hopefully see Vieites named among the subs vs. Norwich on Saturday.

Jacub Stolarczyk is out with a groin injury at the moment, so his involvement going forward will be limited. With Asmir Begovic and Fran Vieites to call on, we would possibly be in favour of Anthony Patterson joining. But it looks another random move to just try to catch something with something.

We could see a potential sale of Wout Faes in January, but no need to sign a replacement. Ben Nelson and Caleb Okoli are two players who can fill that gap. You also have Harry Souttar to call on as cover. To see Palmeiras defender Bruno Fuchs linked with a move to Leicester, is more brainless talk. Why should Leicester at this point scout to find a 26 year old Brazilian defender when they have a youth academy and severel players to call in emergancy.

Some fans do not rate Luke Thomas at all. But the club decided to give him a new four year deal, so hopefully thay have a plan for him. Victor Kristiansen can be sold in the January transfer window, with another Sunderland player identified as a potential replacement. Dennis Cirkin is the man to call. This would be a reason to drop Luke Thomas who has just signed a new four year deal. This sounds totally strange again to use money on a cover and if not, why do you give a player who you might decide to put in the terraces a new four year deal.

Forward option Louie Barry is also one mentioned as a potential signing. The 22 year old scored goals when on loan at Stockport, but has not yet made his Aston Villa debut. He has not manage to score goals in his recent loan spells with Hull and Sheffield United. Not a player better than what is available at the club at the moment.
