We have earlier given insight to a long list of transfers that Leicester should have listened to and made their move, but in some way they have not been able to find these special gems.
Daniel Karlsbakk was last season top goalscorer in the Norwegian top flight, scoring 18 goals in 28 games. He was in this January transfer window, very close to a €9million move to Turkish club Trabzonspor. It all collapsed in the late minutes on deadline day.
He will be with Sarpsborg until the next transfer window, appearing in June / July. He should be a priority for Leicester as they are looking for a new man up front.
Following Scandinavian football closely, we have earlier made a few reports on players such as Jens Petter Hauge, Jorgen Strand Larsen and Felix Horn Myhre. They are all on the fringe in the national team, but still all of them believed to be on the plane to the World Cup.
All of these players were seen as potential to sign for Leicester, but they have not moved or done anything with it. When those players were mentioned they had no star sign and was playing in Norway or in the backyard of Dutch foootball.
Almost ten years ago we also made a report on Abdoulaye Seck. He was an unknown player at Sandefjord Fotball and had no major name in the game. A few weeks ago he won the AFCON with Senegal. He left Sandefjord to join Antwerpen in 2018 and has since played for Maccabi Haifa in Israel. A strong hard and powerful central defender who we believe could have been a shrewd signing back then.
🇳🇴🔥 Daniel Karlsbakk (22) has enjoyed a sensational season with Sarpsborg 08 in the Eliteserien 👏

Daniel Karlsbakk is a special talent and has earlier tried his luck in Dutch football with Heerenveen. He was very young and returned to Norwegian football. At the age of 22 he looks better than ever. The former Norway U21 international would be an ideal signing for Leicester.
He is a tall player, 1,96m. He has great pace, good in the air and his technical abilities are at a level you would believe was not possible for a player at his height.
He is from the same area as Erling Haaland and played for Bryne in his early days, getting his first taste of senior football at the age of 16, playing a total of 30 league games, scoring 5 goals. He also represented Viking from two seasons, before his adventure at Hereenveen.
We have earlier made a report on Daniel Karlsbakk and would fancy seeing him in a Leicester shirt. His best team mate and assisting him on a number of goals, Sondre Ørjasether, has recently joined Twente in Holland. Both players together would have been a great catch.
