Ex Leicester Players and Loan Men Report, Former Record Signing Released, Goal Double For Andrej Kramaric

Islam Slimani has left RJ Cluj and is without a club just weeks before the World Cup. Interest from Belgian clubs could see him sign a new contract before the World Cup, but for the time being a free agent. He is fighting for a place in the Algeria squad for the World Cup. He was involved in just 16 club games this season. Slimani was last involved in international action back in December last year. He is on 104 full caps and a solid tally of 45 goals.

Yesterday Wrexham managed a 1-0 win away at Oxford. Danny Ward, Matty James and Callum Doyle were all in the starting line-up for The Dragons. Lewis Brunt were an unused sub. Wrexham are in the play-off zone with two game left of the season.

On Saturday, Andrej Kramaric scored both goals for Hoffenheim in their 2-1 home win vs. Borussia Dortmund. Both goals coming from penalites. Kramaric is on 12 goals in 30 games so far this season. Hoffenheim are fifth in the table and fighting for Champions League football next season.

On Sunday, Bilal El Khannouss was in action for Stuttgart in their 2-4 defeat to Bayern Munich. Harry Kane scoring one of the goal for Bayern, coming on from the bench. El Khannouss starting for Stuttgart. “Die Roten” are 4th in the Bundesliga table.

James Justin scoring the opening goal for Leeds in their 3-0 home win vs. Wolves. Facundo Bounanotte was an unused sub for Leeds. The former Leicester players are now preparing for a very exciting semi-final in the FA Cup vs. Chelsea, coming up this Sunday on Wembley. Leeds are 15th in the Premier League on 39 points.

On Saturday, Calvin Bassey and Timothy Castagne were both in the starting line-up for Fulham in their 0-0 draw vs. Brentford. Harvey Barnes in the starting line-up for Newcastle in their 1-2 home defeat vs. Bournemouth. Wesley Fofana starting for Chelsea in their 0-1 home defeat to Manchester United.

On Sunday, Chris Wood was in the starting line-up for Forest in their 4-1 home win vs. Burnley. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was in the starting line-up for Everton in their 1-2 home defeat to Liverpool. Michael Keane coming on for Everton, Trey Nyoni an unused sub for Liverpool.

Youri Tielemans in the starting line-up for Aston Villa in their 4-3 home win vs. Sunderland. Dennis Praet in the starting line-up for Antwerpen when they defeated Standard Liege 2-1 at home.

Cesare Casadei in the starting line-up for Torino in their 0-0 away draw to Cremonese. Jamie Vardy was absent with injury and not in the home team squad. Jesse Lingard coming on as a sub for Corinthians in their 0-0 away draw vs. Vitoria. Corinthians are struggling and at the moment fourth from bottom in the relegation zone.

Yesterday Wesley Fofana was in the starting line-up for Chelsea in their 0-3 Premier League away defeat to Brighton. Odsonne Eduoard in the starting line up for Lens, winning 4-1 at home to Toulouse.

In this round a number of Leicester loan men were in action. Jake Evans coming on as a sub for Northampton in their 1-3 home defeat to Doncaster. Will Alves was not involved and in the Huddersfield squad when they drew 3-3 with Bolton. Thomas Wilson-Brown in the Swindon starting line-up when they drew 2-2 with Accrington. Sammy Braybrooke in the Chesterfield starting line-up, when they drew 1-1 with Fleetwood. Jayden Joseph in the starting line-up for Tranmere, scoring their goal in the 1-2 home defeat vs. Bristol Rovers. Brad Young in goal for The Pirates. Nathan Opoku in the starting line-up for Newport in their 0-1 away defeat to Fleetwood.

Wout Faes was in action for Monaco this Sunday, when they drew 2-2 with Auxerre at home. He joined AS Monaco on loan in January, quickly becoming a regular starter. He has played 11 Ligue 1 matches, featuring 90 minutes in most, with highlights including wins against Marseille and Angers.
