Martin O’Neill’s Magic Ability Utilising ex Leicester Player in Celtic League Championship Drama

Last night, Kelechi Iheanacho scored a late penalty, securing a 3-2 win for Celtic against Motherwell. This dramatic finish left Celtic one point behind Hearts, with only one game remaining in the Scottish Premiership season. That special game is at home to Hearts on Saturday. Tawanda Maswanhise in the Motherwell line-up.

Former Leicester men Martin O’Neill, Kelechi Iheanacho, and Kasper Schmeichel, to end up as winners of the Scottish Premiership.

Celtic are aiming for a double, earlier in the season losing the League Cup final to St. Mirren. Martin O’Neill had stepped down from his interim position, leading Celtic to the final, with Wilfried Nancy having the job in his brief period on the day. On May 23rd, Celtic will face Dunfermline in the Scottish FA Cup final. Celtic are favorites to win against The Pars. Neil Lennon is in charge of them, as two Leicester legends meet under these special circumstances.

Martin O’Neill is out of contract in the summer, but he might be eager to continue on a rolling contract, as his influence and managing skills are close to magic.

Neil Lennon has also done a magnificant job at Dunfirmline, leading them to this FA Cup final as well as being involved in the Play-off’s for a position in the Scottish Premiership next season. Arbroath was defeated in the quarter final, with a draw and a close 1-0 win. They are now up against Partick Thistle in the semi-final. A very exciting final end of the season for The Pars.

Kelechi Iheanacho came on in the 70th minute and scored his 5th goal in 12 league games this season. He will be a free agent in the summer. Kasper Schmeichel, who is injured, also has an uncertain future at Celtic. It will be interesting to follow these three former Leicester men and the important Celtic events in the coming days.
