Harry Winks is said to be close to a move to Serie A. Cagliari could be the next stop for the Leicester midfielder. Winks earlier in his career had a season loan spell with Sampdoria, before joining Leicester.
Reports from Italy indicate that discussions are ongoing and the two clubs appear to be nearing an agreement. Harry Winks has had a mixed relationship with some managers and parts of the Leicester fanbase, who feel he hasn’t shown them the respect they expect.
Harry Winks had a great intro at Leicester, helping the club back to Premier League, being a special man for Enzo Maresca in that 2023/24 promotion season.
He has since been a bit in and out of the set up and not really been the player he was under the season with the Italian in charge. The 30 year old is at his best a brilliant midfielder, using him correctly in a set up with the correct players around him, he could be a very good asset.

To date played 101 league games for Leicester, scoring 3 goals. This should be good news for Harry Winks, Leicester and their fractioned fanbase.
Nothing is confirmed, but we believe and hope this deal will go through and that the Harry Winks Leicester chapter soon will be over.
