Leicester today finally confirmed the striker addtion of Admir Bristric, signing a four year deal. He has joined Leicester from Slovenian club Olimpija Ljubljana. He is one of eight confirmed new signings at Leicester.
Goalkeepers: Alex McCarthy, Franco Ravizzoli, Defenders: Christian McFarlane, Midfield: Conor Chaplin, Forwards: Tommy Watson, Wes Burns, Admir Bristric, Liam Cullen
This should be additions that will be quality enough to at least fight for promotion. The major question is how will they adapt and how fast will Russell Martin manage to bring this group together as a solid unit.
We believe there will be more in’s and out’s before the transfer window shuts on the 1st of September, but hopefully Russell Martin will be able to keep the players he believe will be needed to get this group in shape.
The fact that most of the new signings knows the manager or have a link to other players is a good thing. We just have to wait and see how it all will build up coming to the opening game of the league season.
News from Fabrizio Romano is that Darren Motsi will leave Leicester to join Man City. Motsi (15) is the next major talent to leave the football club, sad to see him decide on this move, but what can you do. There are also an exit call for another major youth talent, Christian Boothe, who is close to join Newcastle.
