Will Smallbone has joined Leicester. This shows clear ambition of a push for promotion. A long season has started below expectations, and certain individuals has not been able to perform to a level needed to get those wins steadily on board.

Sammy Braybrooke and Will Alves are two players that are not able to be the leaders of this Leicester team, but at the moment playing in positions and given responsibilities that makes them exposed and dependable.

Another major point is that more players are likely to leave in January. Caleb Okoli, Harry Souttar and Louis Page are all individuals being tracked by other clubs. All of them able to sell for a good fee and possibly giving Leicester more money in the till. A total fee close to £25m could be what Leicester could cash in on those three players.

We could also see players who have just arrived and not been to the level Russell Martin expects, having their loan spells cut short, or for those permanent signings, being sold or sent out on loan.

We believe Russell Martin will continue to build his squad over the January transfer window and not accept to see players lower their standards, having heavy problems to show consistent progress and deliver perfotmsnces to a level that will bring 3 pointers to the bag.

A manager who don’t get the response he believe he should when given certain individuals much trust, will soon replace them, or give them minor roles in the set up. We are not surprised if 4 to 5 new faces will arrive in January.
