Claude Puel said he hoped he could be able to chip a few players out and has so far been lucky that way. Yohan Benalouane, Vicente Iborra and Fousseni Diabate are all out, two permanent and one on loan.
Andy King is reported to be close to a loan move, so are Adrien Silva. Both players are on weekly payments that interested club cannot afford and certain wage packages must be agreed. Silva has been linked with Inter, Fenerbahce and Sporting, difficult to say were he will end up. King is also in demand with Nottingham Forest the favorites to land his signature.
A few players are linked with Leicester City and one has allready been in action. Bohemians forward Ali Reghba has not yet, as we speak, signed a contract, but the player has shown great quality scoring in the U.23 team.
Yesterday a rumor about Uruguay international Nahitan Nandez started to circulate in the tabloids and after a supposed move to Italian club Cagliari never happened and Leicester City are odds favorite to land the Boca Juniors star.
Islam Slimani looks to have “no future” in Turkey and a possible move away for the rest of the season could be happening, with a return to England as a possibility. Aston Villa and Southampton are both linked with the Algerian international.
Norwegian newspapers are thrilled with the rumor about Kristoffer Zachariassen joining Leicester City from Sarpsborg, but that looks a bit in the air at the moment, no real “rolling reports” on that rumor.
Eldin Jakupovic looked certain to join Nottingham Forest on loan, but the move was stopped after Aitor Karanka left his position as manager. Jakupovic looks as if he will leave in the summer.
Ben Chilwell is in high demand with Manchester City ready to test Leicester owners, but hopefully nothing will happen with the newly England established left back. Marc Albrighton signed a new contract and that is great news.
Today also the names Danny Drinkwater, Adam Lallana and Jarrod Bowen turned up again as possible targets, but we have not yet to be convinced that anyone of those will be joining. Lallana is a new name on the list and not one seen before
