Over the years you must say that the recruitment team at Leicester City have done a brilliant job and masterminded some fantastic signings, looking at the progress of James Maddison and Caglar Soyuncu especially, but other “not so obvious” signings have also turned out brilliantly.
Two names have appeared in the rumour mill circles that makes TCF get special thoughts that magic again could be possible. Jarrod Bowen is today a “key player” at Hull City and his presence is well known, the interest from Leicester also seen before.
The other name that “stars” this week, is Turkish international Merih Demiral. Still only 21 years of age and a raw and unfinished article. But his presence is phenomenal and he could be the ideal partner for Caglar Soyuncu, looking forward one or two years in time.
The list of targeted players are growing, and this shows that Brendan Rodgers could surprise a few with a couple of new faces added in January. He recently signed a new long term deal and would probably like to mark this with a believed double signing in this window.
Rodgers would probably let players such as Daniel Amartey and Matty James leave either on loan or in a transfer as the duo looks mountains away from a starting position at the moment.
