Leicester City could be close to deal as Leeds United might have to look elsewhere for midfield addition

Leicester City are linked with a number of targets and one that is climbing to our hot section is William Carvalho. The 28 year old Portuguese currently with Real Betis could now, due to the corona crisis, be available for as little as £12million.

Yesterday we reported on Joe Rodon from Swansea who probably would be sold for a price in the region of £5million, as prices will be in heavy decline and players might also be able to land on much lower terms as the situation in football looks a bit dark at the moment.

The fact that people are not allowed to attend games could of course be worse for those clubs who are not helped by tv cash in the same amounts as Premier League clubs. Carvalho is a quality player in the right age and one that will grab a chance to join a major club in Europe. as Leicester City are said to be in competition with Inter and Monaco also in the chase.

Today news are also that Nampalys Mendy is on his way out and that as Leeds United might looks far away to catch him as advanced talks are said to have taken place with two other clubs, Trabzonspor and Udinese. Mendy could be a scoop for the club that might be able to sign him as Leicester City is said to accept a fee as low as £7.5million.
