A new chance to win back confidence and a positive and offensive line-up with Patson Daka again making a start was refreshing points from Brendan Rodgers. This also had an effect on the supporters inside the stadium that made the atmosphere good

Legia are at the moment going through a difficult period and the top club of Poland have been in a struggling situation and not really in the best form. Leicester took the advantage of this from start and pushed for an early goal.

After 11 minutes Patson Daka made the most of a pass from Harvey Barnes and slided the ball from close distance into the net and we did see Leicester in the lead. The pressure continued and a lively James Maddison had a good night at King Power, and his 2-0 goal after 21 minutes was a beauty. He switched and turned inside the penalty box and when he decided to fire his shot it was good and precisely struck.

The game looked like a one way drive, but in some way Legia managed to get back in and a slight concern that we would be fooled again, and a passive Leicester defense had to yet again see a ball going in behind Kasper Schmeichel when Mladenvoic hit one back after 26 minutes.

Wilfred Ndidi did really kill the game totally when he came highest inside the penalty box after 33 minutes and the header went into the net and the game was in real finished with that 3-1 goal.

Leicester kept their momentum and never really gave Legia any chance to get back in but the game faded a bit 2nd half as the teams really knew this was going to end with a Leicester victory.

Jonny Evans missed the game after being worried about a problem just minutes before kick-off and Daniel Amartey took his place alongside Caglar Soyuncu. Amartey shows that he can be trusted in a number of roles and also knows how to handle the stress of going in when you gate a late call.

Brendan Rodgers must be thrilled with the result and being top of the group for the final game of the group stages and at this moment guaranteed at least a place in the Conference League, secured yesterday a certain 3rd place, but of course getting a draw away to Napoli could see them as winners and then also avoid the next qualification round and go straight into the finals of the Europea League.

We certainly hope that the top spot will be secured away to Napoli and a win will do that, a draw would at least secure the 2nd position and could be enough also to win the group with other results going in the correct direction for Leicester.

With the situation Legia are in at the moment we do not really know how good this performance was but to score 3 and win the game was a good feeling.

In the end of the game we did see Legia fans fighting with police and reports are that it was injuries, sadly again we do see violence at a football ground, this should not happen.
