Brendan Rodgers has been spotted at the game between Celtic and Dundee United. He will of course use his break going to watch a football match with the intention to look at players that can be of interest as the season goes on and you are able to have a live look.

We all know what Leicester are out searching for. They are in the market for a central defender with a similar profile as Jonny Evans and also having pace and be at an age that would see the player as a long term alternative signing.

Cameron Carter-Vickers (24) is at present playing for Celtic on loan and his player profile fits the bill of what Leicester are looking for. Not yet made his league debut for Spurs but for many seasons been loaned out to several clubs with a contract running out in the summer.

He will be available on a free and could of course be ideal as his career has given him fantastic experience at international level with USA, been involved in Europe and also played in front of big crowds and joining Leicester would be a natural step for him.

The key reason for Brendan Rodgers to be at Celtic Park at the game was a possible chance to be part of a ceremony honouring previous manager Wim Jansen passing away last week. But to have an extra look on a possible candidate like Cameron Carter-Vickers would probably be good. The USA international has previously been on loan at Swansea, Ipswich, Sheffield U, Bournemouth, Stoke and Luton. This season he has 18 league games played and scored twice.
