Will Brendan Rodgers and Leicester complete the impossible in the last minutes on deadline day calling Bayern and Metz

Few believe that anything will happen in the late hours before the transfer window close but recent rumours appearing yesterday could suggest that something is in the air.

If two moves will go through then they are both massive surprises, even one move would be sensational with few or no expectations of such happening.

We did see this with Danny Ward coming in as a surprise deal without any signs for it happening, but still a deal came around and the Wales international signed for the club.

Omar Richards is a player that currently is just a back up figure at Bayern Munich joining from Reading in the summer and see as one of the top talents of English football. The 23 year old is a product of the Fulham Academy and one that could be ideal for Leicester as they at the moment just have Luke Thomas as a long term alternative in that left back position.

The hottest rumour at the moment is Mali international and Metz defender Boubakar Kouyate. The 24 year old has been involved in the AFCON lately but with his nation knocked out of the tournament who knows what could happen.

Both players are closely linked by several sources before and when Omar Richards moved to Bayern in the summer rumours were that Leicester were close as Brendan Rodgers is said to be a keen admirer.

The fact that the club have too many players on their books and are in a dilemma regarding those 25 players limited to be named would see it difficult to get players over the line. But again a rumour is a rumour and looking at it in perspective it could be possible to just leave out one or two players and sort out a move later on as we did see with Nampalys Mendy who we trustly believe will be back in.
