Bauba Soumare could be the player that hits the start button on major moves in and out of Leicester this summer. A fee close to £35million could be an offer to accept for Leicester. Talk Sport correspondent Jamie Thorpe do believe this is a move that will go forward with strong pace.
Monaco sold their defensvie midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni to Real Madrid earlier in the summer. This gives the club free hands to use some of the money gained. Monaco is one of few clubs in France believed to be able to meet the salary demand from Soumare as he surely would not leave on terms below his level at Leicester.
Monaco cashed in €80million on this sale and so far used €15million on forward Minamino from Liverpool. Bouba Soumare is a player with a grand status in French football and also one that will be seen as a regular first teamer if joining.
His move to Leicester must so far, from a personal point of view, be seen as fatal failure. Brendan Rodgers never did see him as regular first team alternative and early on also gave Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall his blessings and moved Soumare below him and Nampalys Mendy in his selection order.
Sad to see such a talent not being able to get his game pushed in the right direction at Leicester and if Monaco are ready to meet the demand, we might see a move happening.
