Christian Fuchs has retired from the game, with his last stop being Charlotte FC. A great career is now final with the Austrian adding up a total of 589 appearances in all, scoring 36 goals. Started with Wiener Neustadt and SV Mattersburg in Austria, from there to Germany playing for Bochum, Mainz and Schalke. Joined Leicester on a free in 2015 and made a massive impact both as a player and person, adding up 152 appearances in all.
Callum Wright has left Blackpool and joined Plymouth, as he says farewell to a Championship relegation fight and instead hopefully playing a major part in a promotion push a league below. Wright (22) joined Leicester from Blackburn in 2018 and during his days at King Power, he had longer loan spells at Cheltenham, playing 51 league games and scoring 13 goals.
Premier League is of course a major stage for a number of our former foxes, with Jeffrey Schlupp in the starting eleven vs. Spurs last night, leaving the field in the 61st minute when Palace was 2-0 down, and watching from the bench that things did not get any better when Spurs hammered in two more goals to settle the score, 4-0.
After a very uplifting 1-1 draw vs. Man City and a wonderful goal from Demarai Gray, Everton were back on wrong paths vs. Brighton being defeated 4-1 at home. Gray looks to have a good position as he is a regular starter under Frank Lampard.
Ben Mee (33) is a key player at Brentford, been involved in 17 of 18 PL games so far, and with his massive experience from Premier League action with Burnley, being part of a special journey with The Bees under the management of Thomas Frank. During his early days in the game he spent time on loan with Leicester, coming in from Man City, before making his switch to Burnley.
Riyad Mahrez (31) is still very much part of the Man City set up and has so far played 11 PL games, scoring 1 goal, but he looks to be happy again chasing the League Trophy under the guidence of Pep Guardiola. He was in the starting eleven vs. Everton, drawing 1-1 at The Etihad.
Chris Wood came on as a sub vs. Arsenal in the 0-0 draw at The Emirates. Newcastle looks a strong unit as we did see Wood scoring on their three goals vs. Leicester a few days back. Wood looks to be very much part of the future plans of Eddie Howe, but is not a certain starter.
Harry Maguire was in the starting eleven for the game vs. Bournemouth, helping his side to a great 3-0 home win. He has been in struggle at Man Utd this season with only 7 games played. Gareth Southgate gave him trust during the World Cup and he performed well for England during the tournament.
Matty James played the full game for Bristol City in their 1-1 away draw to Coventry. Andy King was an unused sub as the two former Leicester midfielders are fighting on for Nigel Pearson. King has been involved in 14 league games this season, James has a total of 17.
Viktor Johansson was in goal for Rotherham when they were defeated 3-0 away to Gary Rowett and his Millwall. Callum Elder was an unused sub when Hull defeated Wigan 4-1 away. Kolo Tourè is facing a massive battle and has not had any easy start taking over The Latics a few weeks back.
Cedric Kipre played for Cardiff in their 1-0 away defeat to Blackburn. Admiral Muskwe scored from the penalty spot when his Fleetwood defeated Shrewsbury away with a strong 3-0 win. Jacub Stolarczyk, on loan from Leicester, was an unused sub.
Tom Hopper came on as a sub for Lincoln, when they drew at home to Ipswich. Hopper (29) has played 14 league games this season and scored 2 goals. Joe Dodoo has signed for Burton after leaving Doncaster last season, he has so far made 7 league appearances and came on as a sub in their latest game, losing 5-0 away to Morecambe.
Elliott Moore played the full game for Oxford in their 1-0 home defeat to Exeter. Fousseni Diabatè has moved from Trabzonspor to Partizan Belgrade earlier in the season, and was in the line-up as his team won 1-0 vs. Novi Pazar and are 2nd in the table behind city neighbour Red Star.
Max Gradel scored one of the goals for Sivasspor vs. Konyaspor, the game ended in a 2-2 draw as Gradel’s club are struggling in the relegation zone. Ademola Lookman has been in good form for Atalanta. He was on the field in their latest game vs. Spezia, ending in a 2-2 draw, Lookman left the field after 57 minutes.
Kasper Schmeichel and Nice had to see defeat vs. Rennes losing the away game 2-1. Nice are currently 11th in the league. Cengiz Under played the full game for Marseille in their strong 2-1 away win vs. Montpellier, currently 3rd in Ligue 1.
