Leicester to look at free agents this summer as perfect fits are listed among a number of different candidates

Southampton have no idea of were Mohamed Elyounussi will play next season. The player himself has said it’s a new experience to be without a contract, but still believe it will be exciting as well to look at offers coming in.

The Norwegian international has earlier been linked with the club, first when he was at Basel, and later during his time with Southampton. He is still only 28 years of age and would be perfect on the flank in a Championship promotion push. He is out of contract and ready for a new club if getting a good offer, but also of course considiring moves to Premier League clubs if they show an interest.

Jesse Lingard is also among players released this summer, and surely looking for his next step in football. The 30 year old just left Nottingham Forest and is free to join a new club. If he wants to try himself a tier below Premier League, who knows, but he looks a bit out of the picture at Leicester.

Nathan Redmond currently leaving Besiktas in Turkey, is one player with a talent and also one that could be in the frame of a possible Leicester move. Redmond do have grand pace and has a previous life at Norwich, Southampton and Birmingham, would be a nice addition if happening.

Jeffrey Schlupp is out of contract at Crystal Palace, and he is a valuable player and of course having a long life at Leicester before, could probably fancy a tour back if getting a call. Schlupp is a player with a grand reputation and able to play in a number of positions, so one to watch.

Roma defender Chris Smalling is also a free agent this summer, believed to have been watched by Leicester, and still a fantastic defender and one that could consider a return to English football. He has been playing regularly and not lost any momentum at all.

You also have Alexis Sanchez and Zlatan Ibrahimovic who both are among “old boys” also on the list of free agents after being released by Marseille and AC Milan.

Reiss Nelson of Arsenal, Tom Davies and Yerri Mina both at Everton last season, are also players on a list of free agents and surely interesting objects to look at in a Championship environment, but believed to also being able to find a new club in Premier League.
