No secret, but it took a while for the club to get the move of Stephy Mavididi confirmed. Today it happened and the fifth signing of the summer is a fact. The 26 year old forward is not a typical goalscorer with his stats not really bringing the big numbers to the table, with 21 goals in 91 games for Montpellier over a period of three seasons.

He has been capped up to U.20 level for England, and could have been a full international for Congo, but instead decided to stay loylal and hope for a chance to be called up for full duty, still not happened, but anyway looks a good goal to have.

This transfer surely gives a signal of what Enzo Maresca would like to bring to the team, vitality and options as he can change the game picture with a strong 1.82m forward to call on. So far we have not real idea of what Enzo would like to do if he would go for two men up front or play with three, few answers given.

There are still a lot of questions regarding the Leicester squad and the current composition, as we still can see players being linked with moves away. Bouba Soumare, Hamza Choudhury, Wilfred Ndidi, Dennis Praet, Jannik Vestergaard, Kelechi Iheanacho, Timothy Castagne and Daniel Iversen are all been linked with other clubs and surely Enzo cannot build his squad on so much uncertainty.

On the other side we have lately seen Leicester being linked with Cole Palmer (Man City), Cesare Casadei (Chelsea), Hannibal Mejbri (Man Utd), Amad Diallo (Man Utd) and Shea Charles (Man City) as they all can be loan options for the club.

We will most certainly see more action in and out towards the end of the transfer window.
