Enzo Maresca eager to find perfect blend as players are considered sold with next move in looking immenent

A great start with four wins in four possible is of course fantastic, but still there are work to do as we take a look at the few days left of the transfer window. Yunus Akgun looks to be next in the door and fits the bill perfectly as his wide flank position is still a position not fully covered.

We do believe this could see one or two more moves out, but a major surprise if some of them are Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Ricardo Pereira. Their importance in the project going forward and the type of offers to be received would probably not trigger player or club.

A mix of players could be leaving before the transfer window close, but who they are is a massive guess as players also needs to see the possible move being correct, and then be in the same situation as they are at the moment.

Timothy Castagne has been linked with a move to Fulham, but it probably stance on price, wages, contract length and of course seeing The Cottagers as a step up. Castagne is a contender for the left back position, but with Callum Doyle in that position at the moment, Castagne might look for a move, but would probably prefer another club and a move to Juventus or Inter would be more what he is seeking.

At the moment the squad looks unbalanced as a 4-3-3 would see the ideal squad being picked from a group of double covers and three more players, being a goalkeeper, a forward and possibly a central defender as we do have a problem at the moment

Leicester at present are the following,

Goalkeepers: Hermansen, Iversen, Ward, Stolarczyk, Smithies

Comment: Need to get two men out, to have more than three goalkeepers is not needed.

Defenders: Pereira, Justin, Castagne, Kristiansen, Doyle, Vestergaard, Coady, Faes, Souttar, Thomas, Nelson

Comment: One, maybe two defenders needs to depart

Midfield: Praet, Winks, Choudhury, Ndidi, Dewsbury-Hall, Casadei,

Comment: Looks a good blend, but both Ndidi and Praet could trigger a move out, with one more midfielder being looked at as a possible addition

Forwards: Albrighton, Vardy, Madivadua, Mavididi, Iheanacho, Daka, McAteer

Comment: If Akgun joins then Daka could be out, but still the forward line looks good.

The pattern is a bit unclear and with a move for Yunus Akgun from Galatasaray, he would surely push others out and the future of Patson Daka and Marc Albrighton would surely be in doubt. We will get a number of interesting situations going forward. Selling Kelechi Iheanacho could also be something considered as reports are flying on him with just a year left on his current contract. Wilfred Ndidi is also one that recently has been seen as in the mill, with Bayern Munich and Besiktas being clubs linked.
