Molde made no secret of their desire to get through to the next round of Europa Conference League, winning 3-0 vs. Legia. Bartosz Kapustka came on as a late sub and had no real impact.
Jonny Hayes started in the Aberdeen 1-2 defeat to Rangers, but since been dropped as the 36 year old veteran looks to have a struggle on under new manager Neil Warnock.
Caglar Soyuncu is back in Turkey, joining Fenerbahce on loan for the rest of the season. He has not played in any of the Europa Conference League games, but been in action in the league and domestic cup. His presence is seen and so far he is unbeaten as Fenerbahce is just two points behind leaders Galatasaray being 2nd.
Cengis Under has so far scored 8 goals in 18 league games for Fenerbahce, returning to Turkey before this season and again shining, as the two ex Leicester players looks to enjoy their football.
Tom Lawrence had a difficult start at Rangers, moving to Ibrox two year ago. He has this season been much more involved and was on the field from start in the 2-1 home win vs. Aberdeen. Lawrence (30), came on as a sub in their last outing vs. St. Johnstone, replacing Noel Cantwell in the 60th minute. Rangers are currently top of the table of 64 points two more than Celtic following in 2nd place.
Rachid Ghezzal came on as a late sub in the 2-0 Besiktas win vs. Konyaspor. Besiktas are currently 4th in the Turkey top tier. Ghezzal has played 18 league games this season and scored 1 goal. He has also played 2 games in Europe.
Alex Pascanu has so far this season played 20 league games and scored one goal for Sporting Gijon in the Spanish Secunda. Gijon is currently 4th and in the play-off zone, just 3 points behind Eibar who are 2nd and in a straight promotion spot.
Standard Liege is 11th in the Belgian top flight, with Kamal Sowah on loan from Brugge. Sowah was withdrawn after 65 minutes in their last game, defeated 2-1 away to Westerlo. Nathan Opoku was taken off after 89 minutes when OH Leuven drew 0-0 in their lastest outing vs. Charleroi.
Real Betis are currently 7th in La Liga, drifting a bit behind the top teams. Ayoze Perez is currently out injured and has not appeared in the team since the 1-0 win vs. Granada on the 13th of January.
