Daniel Amartey played for Leicester from 2016 to 2023. He played 106 league games and scored 2 goals. He joined Besiktas on a free, but left the Turkish club in September last year for an undisclosed reason.
He has since then been linked with moves to Celtic and Bayern Munich. Those moves never happened. Amartey (30) has had a time out of the game, but in no way considering retirement.
He has turned down several offers from other clubs to get a chance at the highest level, preferably in Germany. Before joining Leicester, he had played for Djurgaarden in Sweden and Danish club Copenhagen.
Amartey had a special role in the Ghana national team, having played 50 times for his nation. This has also seen a temporary stop, since he has not been playing for a club since leaving Besiktas.

He is a winner of the league and cup in both in Denmark and England. He has also won a cup with Besiktas in Turkey. Amartey could be a good omen for your squad.
Will be interesting to see where his next move will be. According to himself a move to a new club is very close. There will soon be something to tell as we will follow up on his route in football.
