We can all agree on that Odsonne Edouard was a mistaken signing by Steve Cooper. Not that the Crystal Palace forward is a bad player, but because Leicester had no clue how to utilize him. Ruud van Nistelrooy and Steve Cooper throw him under the buss. Giving him no possibly chance to play.
Odsonne is back in the first team frame at Crystal Palace. He made a good impression during pre-season. Recently picking up a Community Shield winners medal. He was on the bench for the fixture vs. Liverpool.
He was also named on the bench for the season opener vs. Chelsea. Crystal Palace are competing in Europe this season and will play Fredrikstad from Norway tomorrow. Would not be surprised if Odsonne are in the starting line-up or given minutes, all the best to him.
Leicester fans never gave him a chance. Certain parts of the fanbase decided he was rubbish. They judged him without really knowing who this proven professional was.

Of course great to see him getting a chance again at the highest level. All the best to Odsonne who had a nightmare at Leicester last season, not to put any blame on him. Strange to see how fast things can change in football.
But again this is a footballer with good stats. He has a special track record in international football, scoring 17 goals in 14 U21 appearances for France. Edouard scored 54 goals in 94 league games for Celtic. His tally at Crystal Palace is 18 in 95 so far.
His time with Leicester was not the best. He might not have fitted in the system. He also might not have been given the opportunities needed to deliver the best quality.
He looks well settled after his return to Crystal Palace.
