Players Going Out Rather Than Coming In, The Names Expected to Leave in January

The financial situation at the club is far from solved. The reshuffle of certain areas at the club are on. A new Technical Director could be set to sell certain players for substantial fees.

We believe Marti Cifuentes will be left frustrated, but could be able to sign players on loan. He knows that the current squad of players must be reduced, to be able to bring new faces in.

Abdul Fatawu is one player that could be sold for a heavy transfer fee. Leeds, Everton, Sunderland, Brentford West Ham and Brighton are all in a frame to be bidding for him. We believe a fee around £25million would see him leave Leicester.

From earlier reports we do beleive Wout Faes and Bouba Soumare could be on their way out. They will be worth a net of close to £22million together. The recent rumour regarding Wout Faes is from Besiktas, saying they are ready to move quickly to get him. The Belgian international is eager to get his move done in January. He wants to push for a place in the Belgian squad for the World Cup coming up in the summer. Bouba Soumare has been linked with Monaco, AC Milan and Sevilla.

There are also a great number of other players out of contract in the summer. All of them are far from certain to get new offers from Leicester. They could all leave the club. All of this are far from positives for Marti Cifuentes. Marti must try to build a winning team with players in transition.

There are rumours linking Luke Thomas with a move out. Bundesliga club Hoffenheim are said to be looking at him. Victor Kristiansen, currently out of action, has also been linked with other clubs.

Harry Souttar had his loan spell at Sheffield United cut short last season. He could be back in action soon, but his future also looks to be elsewhere. Marcal Madivadua is looking for answers about his future. Woyo Coulibaly is also seeking clarity.

It will be interesting to see how the youth at the club will be nurtured. The goal is of course to build a progressive team over the next few years. At this moment that group of talent looks too young to be the backbone of this clubs next bright chapter. But it certainly must be the path to follow to bring some sort of momentum forward.
