There is still a long way to go before players return for pre-season training. Gary Rowett is in talks with the owners about his future, so itโ€™s uncertain what will happen next. He understands the situation, and there are other candidates who are riskier than him.

Darren Ferguson is the top candidate, while Dick Schreuder is an uncertain choice. The others on the odds list are individuals who have fluctuated in football management.

We believe that none of the players running down their contracts this summer will be offered a new deal. One exception could be Jamaal Lascelles, but also heavy doubts about him, being able to chose other options, being a free agent.

In the group of players who are on running contracts we do believe that as many as 9 players could be seen leaving, before the transfer window shut on Monday the 31st of August.

We are counting in Bilal El Khannouss who has allready agreed a move to join Stuttgart. The Bundesliga club will be signing him on a permanent deal for approximately โ‚ฌ18 million to โ‚ฌ20 million (plus a previous ~โ‚ฌ3.5 million loan fee).

Caleb Okoli, Wout Faes, Victor Kristiansen and Woyo Coulibaly are four players that can attract interest from abroad. A move for Wout Faes looks much likely, having done a proper job at Monaco when on loan. News are that that move is on.

We certainly hope that Harry Winks will get his situation sorted out. A loan or a free transfer should be considered. Winks was clearly giving everyone mixed emotions. He is not a solution for Leicester at this point, please find a way to end this relationship as fast as possible.

Abdul Fatawu and Stephy Mavididi are both attracting interest from other clubs. Both players are linked with other clubs and hopefully a move is settled early, to just get them off the books. Nathan Opoku recently signed a new contract, but can be sold for a nominal fee to a lower league club, spending time at Newport this season.

If all of these players are leaving you will get a count of nine, including Bilal El Khannouss. Leicester should benefit from these sales and build their team on a few new additions as well as a number of loans.

We will just wait and see what happens next.
