Leicester is again linked with a new player, Luton defender James Justin. The 21 year old England C international is one that has impressed for The Hatters in their recent rise from Non-league to Championship football.

There are in the past several players who have been able to take the climb from League 1 to Premier League football and settle in quickly, while others have failed and their transfers are stamped bad management.

In the past you have players such as Neil Lennon and Robbie Savage who both joined Leicester from Crewe, and made a place for themselves at the highest level, growing from their experience and taking the level without using much time.

Another very interesting player who has been linked with a number of Championship clubs is Jamal Lowe. Portsmouth picked him up from Non-League team Hampton & Richmond Borough back in 2017 and he has since been a great asset.

Lowe played a handful of games for Barnet before he had to take the step down and rebuild his career, faling to find a club in the League system at first. He is just the perfect signing for Leicester, an attacking winger who score goals, that is the perfect man.

We believe that Leeds, Cardiff and Wigan are the front runners in the chase, but the “computer science” at LCFC should pick up this guy and really have a look at the skills and type, to see if he fits to be in the squad of Brendan Rodgers.

His tally of goals at Hampton & Richmond Borough is class, 29 in 49 league games. He has followed that up with 25 in 103 league games for Portsmouth. This is the latest of transfer talk this Wednesday.

He is one of the key players in the rebuild of Portsmouth under the management of Kenny Jackett, and if you can be a vital player in that type of rise, you should be one to watch.
