Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that it will be difficult to rule out a move for Youri Tielemans and to get the best possible price he could be gone even in this January transfer window.

Both Man Utd and Arsenal are said to be keen on the player with Liverpool not in the chase as they were the front runners last summer.

Brendan Rodgers is hopefully not getting carried away but surely losing one fantastic player after another can’t be easy. After two years of ending 5th in Premier League and also bringing home the FA Cup and the Community Shield trophies, what more could players ask for.

The key to it all is to be positive and understand the way this football circus is running and players come and go, hopefully BR will see that and not jump ship himself. There are agents living on transfers and as long as that is part of the game you will see moves happen as contracts are running towards the end.

Few believe a move will happen in January, but strange to see that he will leave for Arsenal. Man Utd are ready to make moves in the transfer market in January but they also have to ship out players first as their squad must be balanced as well.

If Man Utd or Arsenal comes in with a bid of £60million in the January transfer window, TCF believe the player will be sold, if not, it will not happen anything before the summer and we can of course hope for a change and that Tielemans will stay, but it looks as if he will be gone either in this window or in the next.

We will just wait and see what happens.
