Brendan Rodgers will be eager to get five different transfer deals done over the next couple of weeks. The current Nations League tournament games will of course affect the timing as players will return and go on holliday soon.
To get the best alternative signings in there are no real secrets on how that will be achieved with a number of moves out early on.
Leicester representatives are said to have met Inter in a meeting to get a move for Caglar Soyuncu sorted out, but still Real Madrid are seen as a major contender for his signature. Leicester looks certain to be eager to offload the Turkish international as Fofana and Evans are the preferred duo in central defence, with Ghana international Daniel Amartey a steady cover. Up and coming youngster Ben Nelson will soon also be among the contenders as his presence allready is noticed.
Daniel Iversen is also on his way out believed to follow Eldin Jakupovic out the door after a long time on loan at several parties including Preston and Rotherham. West Brom and Middlesbrough are both eager to get the highly rated Dane to their quarters. Newly promoted Sunderland could also enter the chase as Leicester will demand a fee in the region of £5million.
Hamza Choudhury is the third of those five players currently waiting on a decision but his move could be one seen as a loan with Championship rivals West Brom and Middlesbrough also competing in the race for the England U.21 international.
Youri Tielemans might be the one move that will inject a sharper hunt from Leicester on new recruits as their midfield dynamo has no real replacement inside the camp. Arsenal are currently linked with many different options and it looks as if they could move on other players. Spurs and Real Madrid are prevously also linked with a move for the Belgian international.
The fifth player on the list is Dennis Praet as he wants a move back to Serie A. Torino are favorites in the chase but it could be a bit complicated as Torino needs to get a few sales over the line before a permanent move for Praet is certain.
We do believe that Youri Tielemans, Daniel Iversen, Caglar Soyuncu, Hamza Choudhury and Dennis Praet are the first group of players to be on the way out as we could see another two or three also leaving before the start of next season.
