Looking at Liverpool and Man City, that is the best way to conduct yourself. As you try to adapt to a certain system to try to move up the stairs, you need to follow a plan and route. TCF believe the club have the capacity and ability to climb with the players available.
Players must be respected. New signings must join the club on terms that are initially intended, if that becomes and issue, problems will appear.
Often fans look at players as toys, often talking as if they have little or no knowledge of football at all. You cannot let players dry up in the shadows of Seagrave, and just shuffle great numbers in and out, that is not possible. Players often comes to a club with a perspective of their stay, based on their own situation, as goals can be very different from one individual to another.
Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp are two managers that have their eyes on everything as they carefully build their future teams, looks one or two steps in front of everyone else. Man City sold Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus and brought in two younger alternatives in Erling Haaland and Kalvin Phillips. Jurgen Klopp recently made clever acts himself, as he build space, letting Sadio Mane move on. You have to make brave decisions and always have an eye on what is going to happen. Leicester are at this moment above Liverpool and Man Utd in the Premier League table, but still have heavy issues to solve, going forward.
Tawanda Maswanhise is a name to look at, turning 20 years of age later in the year. He made his presence clear vs. Spurs in the 2-2 clash on Seagrave on Monday. He is usually used wide, but can also play in a top forward role and shows how he is adaptable to those settings as players playing up front in a three man forward line needs to be fluid and adaptable going wide and in to the centre.
He is ready Tawanda Maswanhise, as he showed last pre-season, he can play against and with full proven first teamers. His pace is special and his presence would be interesting to look at, but it looks as if Brendan Rodgers does not have him in his book.
Instead of just dropping into a situation when you have no cover for Harvey Barnes you need to find the best replacement for such a man and Tawanda Maswanhise would fit that picture.
Brendan Rodgers need to have a settled unit and get rid of fringe players as he builds his system. He should not shuffle James Maddison in and out of different positions, but let him be the third man alongside KDH and Ndidi in that midfield area. Mendy, Praet and Tielemans would all be possible covers for those three midfield positions. Choudhury is out and gone to Watford, Soumare could also see his days at the club numbered, despite having a good pre-season. If Soumare leaves it will be space for Sammy Braybrooke to be a fringe alternative.
We would like to see more players form the development environment getting to prove themselves and the first team group being reduced to a number that makes it possible to just have a core of players rotating as that group should ideally not be more than 16 to 18.
To have covers for this and that, paying millions in salaries, does not add up. This will over time make you struggle as a club. The contracts as well is an issue, and of course a financial base of revenue most mirror the squad and the salaries to be paid.
To have a space, potentially having players to add in a January transfer window is also crucial. To be able to add one or two players, must be the ideal. To get Leicester closer to the top, one signing might be needed of a flank player, but as we have said, Tawanda Maswanhise looks one that should be involved, as his presence should be valued.

This is how we see the 25 men squad, and if any players should be signed, it should be with a view to strengthen the starting eleven, not buying just potential fringe men.
In this picture you have to get more players out as the numbers should add up. The ideal picture would be to at least see four players moved out of those ! This could lead to one signing of a wide man, but those seen in the list of rumours as possible additions are not as good as Tawanda Maswanhise, if you count out Pepe, Hudson-Odoi and Madueke. The 19 year old is a massive talent and should be given a chance as his pace and presence in front of goal is worth a try.
The players marked with !, could be sold or loaned out, before the transfer window close. This would be a grand signal to the development department.
