Any person with a bit of football knowledge will of course not look at the birth certificate of a player when he brings his team out to play, he will be judging his men on the trainingfield and how they respond to the ideas of your plan.
We have seen Brendan Rodgers often talking about how to manage certain players and bring them to a mode of undertstanding that will see them being slowly moved out of the premises, but with Jamie Vardy you can’t try that, he will not respond, he will score goals and play to his limit.
In the last two games vs. Wolves and Leeds, he has again been the important man bringing Leicester level getting his penalty vs. Wolves and against Leeds even sharper, scoring and also close to get his second, but sadly he was in an offside position.
To see Jamie Vardy in the team together with Patson Daka and Kelechi Iheanacho is what TCF looked for, as the three of course can run and play wide, in a three men attack up front, no problem and just rubish to suggest it would not work, it will bring you closer to more goals as all three do have that in their DNA.
Why Brendan Rodgers had blocked the idea of doing what Dean Smith did vs. Wolves is a major surprise, but still that is no issue at the moment as the talisman of a forward is back in the team and scoring goals.
His presence will be of great importance in the games going forward and hopefully Dean Smith will be bold enough to also use the other two strikers when needed and build a momentum for goals that will see this team survive.
Jamie Vardy will also be around for a new campaign and again hopefully go for more goals and be that vital man we all know are in there, if used correctly and played correctly. Bouba Soumare could be a key in the involvement next season as his presence will be huge as soon as James Maddison is gone.
Maddison played Vardy through against Leeds, but feel that a more direct play from midfield with penetrating passes to a sharp and pacy Vardy, that can go on for a long time, his pace is far from gone, please understand and don’t look at his age, that is just a number.
