Arsenal and England midfielder the perfect match as Leicester could see four to eleven players out in January

There are still a few weeks left before we can see any possible pattern regarding transfers that could and will happen in January, but still there are a lot of talk out there, as players are not getting the game time they feel they deserve.

One of those players are Emile Smith-Rowe of Arsenal and a move for him would be the perfect match for Leicester, as the England international can be one to approach in the run in of the Championship promotion race.

Smith-Rowe (23) will seek regular first team football, something he has no guarentee of at Arsenal. He has only featured in one Premier League game this season, and with an approach from Leicester, they might be willing to let him leave on loan with a possible transfer taking place in the summer.

The three capped England international has in previous seasons been on loan at Huddersfield and RB Leipzig, with a return to Bundesliga also an appealing move. To see him join another Premier League club looks difficult as it will and can affect Arsenal in the race for top positions.

Surely it will be a busy and hectical period with FA Cup 3rd and possibly 4th round being played in this weeks as well, and not having enough players in every position, you could see your form dip and lose out on important points in the race for promotion.

Wilfred Ndidi (Nigeria), Kelechi Iheanacho (Nigeria), Abdul Fatawu (Ghana) and Patson Daka (Zambia) are all players that could be involved in AFCON, representing four nations qualified. Wilfred Ndidi is said to be in line for a move to Barcelona, also having Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Chelsea seen as clubs part of a possible chase, but we feel it looks unlikely that he will move on in January.

Ndidi (26) and his party will most certainly not jump at anything, before they have monitored every possible chance of the perfect move as the player this season will be important for Leicester. If a promotion happens, then hopefully they will again consider a contract offer from Leicester, before making up their minds

Patson Daka is the major question as his future in football looks to be elsewhere and with a good AFCON he could be in line for a move close to a fee of £25million, something we do fell will be considered over the next transfer window, with a number of clubs interested in the Zambian.

Harry Souttar, Dennis Praet and Marcal Madividua are three other names that could be keen on at least a loan move out, with goalkeepers Danny Ward, Daniel Iversen and Alex Smithies also on a list of possible departures in January.

The long term injury of Callum Doyle, could also see him sidelined until the end of January, so a lot to consider for Enzo Maresca and his team of assistants.
