England and Ireland call up’s as international football next for Leicester players out to represent their countries

Will Alves, Sammy Braybrooke and Ben Nelson are all in the England U.20 squad for the upcoming games vs. Sweden and Ireland on the 7th and 11th of June. Fantastic to see three Leicester players of great promise being part of a special group of talent.

Tom Cannon has been called up to the full Ireland squad for the first time. He has shown what he can do in certain games for Leicester, but was not handed many chances under Enzo Maresca, despite being signed from Eveton for a fee of £6million.

Mads Hermansen, Victor Kristiansen and Jannik Vestergaard are all in the Denmark squad for the friendlies vs. Sweden and Norway. All three are also looks certain to make the cut for the Euro’s coming up later in June.

Wout Faes is in the Belgian squad for the friendlies vs. Montenegro and Luxembourg on the 5th and 8th of June. The Leicester defender also looks certain to be part of the squad, travelling to Germany later in June.

Patson Daka will take part in the two games for Zambia, as they play Morocca and Tanzania on the 7th and 11th of June. Nigeria have included Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi in their squad facing South Africa and Benin on June 7th and 10th.

Abdul Fatawu will travel to Ghana as they take on Mali and CAR on the 6th and 10th of June. Harry Souttar will travel to Australia to play in their games vs. Bangladesh and Palestine, taking place on the 6th and 11th of June.
