Will Alves is reported to be on his way to Cardiff. Championship action would of course be great to experience as little or no first team game time, as well as injuries has in a way stopped his progress.
The England u.20 international is still only 19 years of age, so he could still have a career at Leicester in the future, going out on loan would be the perfect decision at this time, not really benefitting much from being on the fringe at Leicester, when battling relegation.
Alves is one having expectations on his head and we all know he is also having those standards himself, wanting to succeed at the very highest level in football. Watching him at times in the u.21 environment, makes a thrilling experience, but not yet having had the chance to shine and show his worth at the highest level.
Cardiff are struggling at the moment, currently 18th in Championship, only 4 points above the relegation zone, but also with a couple wins able to climb into the midtable of this competitive division.

Amani Richards, Sammy Braybrooke and Brandon Cover are three players who spent time on loan at different clubs in the first part of the season, all having returned to Leicester, not expected to get the game time needed.
Ben Nelson, Hamza Choudhury, Chris Popov, Brad Young and Silko Thomas are other players out on loan as Will Alves looks to be following on and possibly could be in action for Cardiff against some of his former team mates, having Choudhury at Sheffield United and Ben Nelson at Oxford.
Harry Souttar is also back at Leicester, after picking up a long term injury sidelining him for a number of months, having had a good period on loan at Sheffield United.
