Jeremy Monga played for England u.16 in their recent games vs. Denmark and Columbia. He scored two goals in those two impressive wins. He is yet to make his full debut for Leicester. To see other clubs being interested in him is no surprise. Monga captained England Under-16s in their last three matches. England played Colombia, Denmark, and France. He scored in all three.
Leicester do have a problem when it comes to their best young talents. They are either not willing or not able to be attractive enough to convince players to stay. This is despite having Seagrave as a fantastic training facility.
Jeremy Monga is not the first of many talents to turn down Leicester. The club is either not willing to give enough in a contract proposal. Alternatively, they have not drawn up a convincing picture of a potential first team career at the club.
Ivan Toney, Calvin Bassey, Trey Nyoni, and Sidnei Tavares are former Leicester players. Some were overlooked, while others moved on for other adventures. This can happen and it will again. Seeing Nyoni and potentially Monga running around in Liverpool or Man City colours is just sickening.
To nurse forward talent you have a lot of aspects to judge and evaluate. When you introduce a player to a first team start, he needs to be ready. That is the job to understand for a manager and often fans get carried away with what they see.

Claude Puel and Brendan Rodgers should be credited for their contributions to the Leicester team development. They provided a pathway into the first team for Harvey Barnes, Luke Thomas, Ben Chilwell, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. The journey came with a cost, as both managers lost their jobs. The club later contribute with huge money moves being made, expect for Luke Thomas who is still at the club.
We do believe that Jeremy Monga will be leaving Leicester soon. Who will turn down an offer from Man City? They can address a future that looks more promising than what Leicester can do at the moment.
