The situation with Ruud van Nistelrooy seems difficult. Most fans do not understand why he is still at the club. His record stands for itself. No matter what team Leicester are playing against, they are not capable of getting any postive results at all.
Looking at the table, Wolves are on 32 points, Leicester on 17. There are 7 games left of the season. The fairystory looks far from reality, but in a fantasy we could see the following outcome.
Leicester do have players who are capable of scoring goals and creating chances, so it can happen. The task is to return to the basics. A bit of Enzoball. This involves a special masterplan with a certain Ricardo Pereira.
James Justin must be pushed out left, to play in the same position he did last season. Vestergaard must be called back to play alongside Wout Faes. That will be the best back four possible.
Ricardo Pereira must be pushed into midfield when in possession, given a chance to build up with Soumare. Facoundo Bounanotte must play in the box to box role in midfield. Wilfred Ndidi should return to his role from last season. Bouba Soumare should take the defensive role in midfield.

Stephy Mavididi and Jamie Vardy are up front in a trio. Bilal El Khannouss does a wide job or is a free man in the setup. This gives him the opportunity to wander a bit on his own. Yesterday, we observed what Jeremy Monga could offer. We would continue to play him as a sub, giving him 30 to 15 minutes in every game.
Wolves will play the following teams home and away in their run-in: Spurs (H), Man Utd (A), Leicester (H), Man City (A), Brighton (H), Palace (A), Brentford (H). Leicester have to following schedule: Brighton (A), Liverpool (H), Wolves (A), Southampton (H), Forest (A), Ipswich (H), Bournemouth (A).
Leicester are 15 points behind Wolves at this point. This looks a very difficult job. Still in theory possible. Leicester will need to win at home to Southampton. They must also defeat Ipswich. Of course, they need to get three points from the clash at Molineux. If that happens, the final day of the season away to Bournemouth becomes crucial. Winning there and getting one point from the other three games vs. Forest, Brighton, or Liverpool could extend hope all the way to the last minute.
If this scenario is to happen, Wolves will have to lose all of their games. They are playing difficult opponents all the way into that last match at home to Brentford.
We would like to see this line-up in the run in:
Hermansen – Pereira, Vestergaard, Faes, Justin – Soumare, Bounanotte, Ndidi – Bilal, Vardy, Mavididi
Jeremy Monga, as described above, must be given minutes as a substitute in every game. He is a diamond.
