Trey Nyoni and Sidnei Tavares did much of the opposite of Jeremy Monga. They decided to leave Leicester at a very young age and instead try their luck elsewhere. Trey Nyoni is turning 18 on the 30th of June. He made his move to Anfield. He had the option to do so and left his hometown club behind, before even being tested at senior level.
Sidney Tavares had been involved in first team activity. Brendan Rodgers, the manager at the time, gave him his debuts in Europe and the Premier League. He is from Portugal. FC Porto, one of the top clubs in European football, admired him. He also decided to leave.
Since Trey Nyoni moved to Liverpool, he has been involved in pre-season preparations. However, he has not yet featured much in first team activity. Not yet played in Premier League. He has in total made 5 first team apperances. EFL Cup, FA Cup and Europa League fixtures in that mix.
Sidnei Taveres never made the FC Porto frist team and today finds himself playing in Moreirense. He has also had a brief loan spell with MLS club Colorado Rapids. He was recently called up to play for Cape Verde. The 23 year old is a solid footballer, but he has taken a step down to get first team options.
It’s still early for Trey Nyoni. So far, he seems a long way from a starting position at Liverpool. The club is constantly seeking the market for new transfers. They are capable of paying £100 million or more for their special targets.

Leicester is a fantastic club to progress from. In recent years, we have seen great examples of success. Harvey Barnes, James Maddison, James Justin, Wesley Fofana, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Ben Chilwell all emerged from the shadows. They have become players on the brightest scene.
Wesley Fofana and James Maddison joining the club from lower ranked clubs, the rest being guided through and up from loan spells and academy development.
The eager to join clubs and move away from Leicester is understandable. However, with the facilities they have in place, there should be no need for hasting move elsewhere. These players need to relate to having a coaching staff of people who have the best diplomas in developing young talents.
The youngsters coming through at Leicester at the moment are among the best in the country. The facilities are fantastic. You should do as Jeremy Monga has done. Stay loyal and don’t fear being overlooked long term.
