Former Leicester player Ahmed Musa has been named new General Manager of Nigeria Premier Football League side, Kano Pillars FC. Musa (32) is still active and will continue playing. Musa has not yet made any talk about retiring from international football, having played 111 times for Nigeria. His last cap came in May this year, playing in a friendly vs. Ghana.
Former Leicester player and manager Rob Kelly, is available for new options. Last month he left AGF Aarhus following Uwe Rosssler out the door. He was the assistant manager under the former Man City and Southampton forward. The two have a long relationship in football together. Being with Rossler at Fleetwood, Leeds, Fortuna Dusseldorf and Malmo FF, before their time at AGF. They had been with the Danish club since 2022.
Enzo Maresca and his Chelsea are through to the semi-finals of the Fifa Club World Cup. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has also featured. He scored in the previous game vs Benfica, and came on vs. Palmeiras in the 87th minute to be part of this special quarter final win. Chelsea will face Fluminense in the semi’s.
Arjan Raikhy has found himself a new club. He was released by Leicester after last season. He have signed a two year deal with National League club, Boston United. He has earlier played for Aston Villa, Grimsby (loan), Leicester and Tamworth (loan). He made one league appearance for Leicester.

James Maddison made an emotional farewell not to Ange Postecoglou after it was clear he had departed Spurs and no longer was his manager. Ange signed James Maddison from Leicester. Other news regarding James Maddison are that he and model girl friend Kennedy Alexa are expecting twins for the second time. He is allready reported back in pre-season preperations. Maddison undergoes rehabilitation from injury. This injury kept him out of the final weeks of the season, including the Europa League final. The 28-year-old has also shared some images from his summer break. He posted them on social media with a caption reading “away from the pitch.” They show him on holiday with family and friends. These friends include former Leicester team-mates Harry Maguire and Jamie Vardy.
Former Leicester manager Craig Levein has not returned to management after leaving St. Johnstone in September last year. He has recently been in the news telling his life stories on a podcast named “sacked in the morning”. Levein has since leaving Leicester had a number of interesting jobs up north, including the Scotland job.
Steve Cooper has been on a visit to Norway. According to Fotballtreneren.no he made a brilliant talk. The headline said; “Steve Cooper participated in the Norwegian Football Association’s UEFA PRO education, leaving a clear professional and human mark on an inspiring day for this year’s participants.”
Former Leicester winger Gary-Taylor Fletcher has left his role as manager of non-league club AFC Crewe. The 43 year old has pushed this club to two promotions, he was in charge for three years. Taylor-Fletcher played his part in getting Leicester and Blackpool promoted to Premier League. He has been active in all four top tiers of english football.
