Hamza Choudhury’s Future: Sheffield United Interest Explained

Hamza Choudhury (28) has not really managed to establish himself as a steady first teamer at Leicester. He is this season just a cover for players out of action. To see him being linked with a move to Sheffield United is no surprise.

Chris Wilder is back in the manager seat at Bramhall Lane. He brought Hamza Choudhury in on loan last season. This was influential in reaching the play-off final. Hamza could fancy a chance to rejoin The Blades.

After what happened on social media on Saturday, the situation has escalated. Hamza was seen liking a post of Tom Cannon scoring one of the three goals for the opposite side. This talk of a move has gone electric. Football Insider believe a move is on, but other parties are more reluctant. We do have a feeling this is one move possible.

Marti Cifuentes knows he needs to ship out players to bring new ones in. A move for Hamza, with a potential fee of around £4 million, makes this likely to happen.

Hamza Choudhury has since his debut for the first team back in September 2017, only played 101 league games for Leicester. He has also been on loan at Burton, Watford and Sheffield United.

He has had a great start to his international career switching to represent Bangladesh. 7 caps so far, 4 goals. He has earler represented England at U21 level.

We will not be surprised if Hamza Choudhury is back in red and white when January is here.
