Chris Popov has been on the books at Leicester since 2021. He was earlier a member of the Man Utd academy. He has since his move to Leicester made his Wales U21 debut and to date played 17 times and scored 3 goals.
He was earlier in the summer released from the club, after being loaned out to Morecambe last season. A four year stay has ended and a new adventure know will be with NFL club Hartlepool United.
He has shown promise, but never seen as a candidate to lead the line up front at Leicester. We wish Chris Popov all the best on his journey further in football.
At the age of 21, he is still young and a push up the league ladders can be possible with a club like Hartlepool United, who has been a regular EFL club in the bast decades. They are under the leadership of former Newcastle midfielder Lee Clark.

We believe Chris Popov can develop into a player with a full international career. We’ll wait to see what happens in the coming years and hope for progress.
Popov previously also had a loan spell at Barrow.
To follow up on all players on the move in the next months never miss out on our transfer update in and out.
