Wanya Marcal Madivadua has found a new club after being released by Leicester this summer. The attacking flank option has signed a deal with League One club Stevenage.
No coments on the length of the contract or anything more than this short confirmation. Wanya Marcal spent 10 years at Leicester and played 3 league games, scoring 1 goal. A total of 10 games in total, including cup competitions.
We had expectations for the now 23 year old as he got some sort of a breakthrough under Enzo Maresca. Then when Leicester were promoted to Premier League, a loan move to De Graafshap appeared, playing 12 games, scoring 1 goal for the Dutch club.
Wanya Marcal has been troubled with injuries during his time at Leicester and this might be the single issue that did see Leicester giving up on the talent and at 23 years of age, potentially believed he was better off somewhere else.
He had a trial at Sheffield Wednesday earlier in the summer, but he never reached an agreement, as his move to Stevenage came up.

He could soon face Leicester again, as the two clubs will play each other on the 1st of October (League One) and on the 6th of October (EFL Trophy).
Irconically Stevenage are above Leicester in the league table, staying 9th at the moment, Leicester are currently 13th.
